Switch to the web version

Now is the time to switch to the web version

The Java-based version of Geometra (Geometra 2) has reached the end of its life cycle, and it's time to switch to our latest online version of Geometra.

The appearance can initially be experienced as different but most functions can be found in almost the same place as where you are used to.

The difference in user interface is not that great!

Many customers have completely gone over to the web version and they believe that it is better at structuring projects, better at managing advanced PDFs and easier to handle when you get the new method.

This is how the switch will be handled

The Java-based version of Geometra will be shut down in steps in the spring of 2019.

The possibility to create new projects is shut down in the Java version

February 28, 2019

In the end of February, you will not be able to create new projects in Java-based Geometra. You can still make annotations, upload files and work with existing projects. New projects are set up in web-based Geometra.

Java version of Geometra becomes archive

April 30, 2019

Old projects are not transferred to the web version, but you can access the information in your older projects in the Java version. The Java version becomes an archive. You access all the information but you cannot change or add anything. Printing and exporting will still work in the archive.
